Second grade here we come!

Even though I may not be ready to let them go, they are ready. They have come so far and I couldn't be more proud of this wonderfu group of students. I was so lucky to have them for my FIRST 1st grade class <3

And of course...we had to do a super excited and goofy picture! Oh how I will miss these kids! They're ready for you Mrs. Driscoll!!

Today in REP we got to see the teachers do the shadow dance. It's a fun dance where you need to follow the leader. Today in math we learned about 3D shapes and Miss Lloyd showed us how to draw them. In our journal, we had to draw them ourselves. We had to make sure to include dotted lines to show that it was 3D. Today during snack Mrs. Griffin showed us all how to open her Japan treasures box! We are reading a chapter book called Gooseberry Park by Cynthia Rylant. We are really liking it so far, especially the characters Kona and Murray!
